Student activists and protesters at Columbia University and Yale University established peaceful encampments in solidarity with Palestinians and to demand divestment from “Israel” by academic institutions. The University has used the NYPD and other police to arrest and harass encamped students protesting a violent genocide. columbia University did nothing when IDF terrorists attacked students with chemical weapons on campus in 2023.
